David worked for 10 years as a consultant with Accenture before starting a consulting business in the USA. He has since been involved in helping and advising start-ups to small and medium-sized companies manage and run their businesses.

Why did I become a trustee?

“A friend of mine donated to I Choose Freedom and mentioned that they were looking for men to get involved with the charity to help be a positive role model for the children at the refuge. After spending time meeting the kids, I met a family that I got to know and was humbled by the transformation they underwent in the 6 months they spent at the refuge – from despair to hope and a new future. I could not believe the impact I Choose Freedom had on helping change lives. I became a trustee to help provide a business lens on the organisation and support in its future growth.”

David is a keen sportsman and has played football, cricket, and golf for many years. He has a passion for the mountains and skiing. Spending time with his family and dogs is always high on his priority list.
