Being a voice within I Choose Freedom gives me the platform to continuously advocate for positive change in the domestic abuse sector, and to advocate for change in the lives of survivors, which is needed so imminently for such courageous people." 

As a survivor of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and as a single parent I feel very passionate about empowering the incredible women and children that find freedom at our shared refuges, and having their voices heard. I love working for such an incredible organisation, and with a team of women that support our survivors to feel empowered and excited about life after refuge - and all the possibilities that are fully within their reach.

Within my role as service manager, I am very excited to combine my experience as a Domestic Abuse Refuge Advocate, and a Children’s Advocate, and to encapsulate my knowledge and passion to support my team in every way possible to ensure every survivor's journey with I Choose Freedom is as positive an experience as possible.
