Louise leads our fundraising, ensuring all our wonderful supporters are kept up to date on the impact they are making through our work.

Having worked as a grants manager for over a decade across a range of trusts and foundations before transitioning to a career in fundraising, Louise has experienced the process from both sides. She is dedicated to ensuring I Choose Freedom’s funders, supporters, and volunteers all feel part of our extended team, as nothing would be possible without them.

With her own personal experience of domestic abuse and a background volunteering to support survivors of sexual assault, Louise has an in-depth understanding of issues around gendered violence. She is passionate about raising awareness of the need for greater investment in refuge provision.
