Sue Tapper has been working for I Choose Freedom since 2011, she started her role as a support worker and has been an ardent campaigner for the rights of victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
Since working for I Choose Freedom she is now a qualified IDVA.
In January 2022, Sue was promoted to Service Manager to deliver our new service ‘Refuge Accommodation for All’ (RAFA). This service offers spaces for ALL victims of domestic abuse irrespective of their gender and sexuality.
Sue’s mission is to provide 8 one-bed self-contained spaces for single adults and provide holistic specialist support with a trauma informed approach.
‘I am very passionate about supporting survivors of domestic abuse and I feel very proud to be regarded as an ally to all victims of domestic abuse from various different communities’.
